Express Air cargo to United Kingdom (UK)

I need to ask your company to send me some information about express air cargo to United Kingdom (UK). Is it possible to send a large cabinet by express air cargo? If so, are you aware if there are any weight or size restrictions on what items are accepted for this type of shipment? The item is a large desk that has a shipping weight of more than 300 pounds. How can I prepare this desk for shipment? Is there any special padding or boxes I should use? Or would it be better if I have it crated before presenting it for shipment?
